WR and RB PPR start/sit?

Postby pman555 » Thu Sep 08, 2011 9:45 am

PPR league

RB2 - Joseph Addai or Cedric Benson?

Houston will most likely stuff the box and force Collins to throw the ball, but Addai has got to get more touches than usual since Manning isnt playing, right? I'm leaning towards Addai.

WR3 - Steve Smith (Car) or Davone Bess?

Bess is more of a possession guy, which is great for PPR, and Smith hasnt been himself recently. I'm leaning towards Bess as more of a safe play. Thoughts?

I'd love to get some opinions.
Thanks!

I like Benson, and I agree Bess is most likely the safer play here.

Id roll with Addai and Bess...

Collins may struggle a bit with the offense, and Addai will have a bigger load because of it. He'll likely get a few check down catches as well as some carries.

Bess in a PPR format is a great WR3. He put in work against NE last year...start him over Smith, who will be lucky to get 2-3 catches imo with Newton behind center and a run 1st team.

good luck

I like Benson here, with a rookie QB and rookie WR they will keep it on the ground until Dalton gets comfortable behind center in the NFL.

Bess at WR
