My team is in my sig. It's a keeper league. I need production at WR spot down the road but Jared Cook is attractive to me because I think he's going to break out and could set me up for years to come at the TE spot. He's the 2nd best passing option on that team and will split wide a lot. I think Hasselbeck/Locker will look to him quite a bit.
Cost: Andre Roberts - (10th pick next year) Jared Cook - (11th pick next year) Gronkowski - (9th pick next year)
I like who I have in Gronkowski (10th rd pick, would cost me a 9th pick next year) but he's really feast or famine and Aaron Hernandez cuts into his stats. (Welker, Cinco, Woodhead, and Branch do too)
If I traded Roberts for Cook, I'd be able to keep him next season with my 11th rd pick. I'd roll the rest of the season with 2 TEs and look to replace Roberts with someone on the waiver wire.
Couple guys in the waivers I have my eye on:
Arrelious Benn - #2 WR option in up and coming offense in TB Randall Cobb - Donald Driver already has a bum knee, but lots of mouths to feed Randy Moss - rumors of him coming back to Patriots
I can keep all waiver picks with a 10th rd pick next year.
Should I pull the trigger?
