Postby BoyNamedSue » Thu Sep 08, 2011 8:38 pm

"Awww, that sucks, dude....now, can I interest you in a QB to replace Peyton?"

I'm trying to put a trade offer together to the Peyton owner in my league while the gettin is good...10 team 1 PPR, H2H

Possible offers:
A) My Orton/B Lloyd to get his McCoy
B) My Orton to get his Felix Jones/Breaston
C) My Bradford/Benson to get his Maclin/P Thomas

Ideally want to get McCoy but a real long shot. Which of these trades or any other combo do you guys think will work with Peyton's season in doubt and scraps out on the WW? Rosters below. Please leave a link and I WHIR. Thanks!

His Team:
QBs: Collins, Cam...Peyton
RBs: McCoy, The Law Firm of BJGE, Felix Jones, P Thomas
WRs: Ocho, Maclin, Breaston, Boldin, Collie
TE: Pettigrew

My Roster:
QB(1): Brady, Bradford, Orton
RB(2): Foster, DWilliams, CBenson, J Stewart (cuff)
WR/RB Flex (1)
WR(2): B Lloyd, Dez, M Thomas, Bess, Sims-Walker
WR/TE Flex (1)
TE(1): Clark, A Hernandez
K: Kaeding
D/ST: PHI

I think that option C looks pretty good. The RB side is pretty much a wash, but you are upgrading your WR corps which I think is the weakness on your team. Maclin would be a huge improvement for you. You could even exchange Boldin for Maclin in that deal if he would prefer that.

Another option would be to trade Bradford for Boldin or Maclin straight up.

Option A would leave you too think at WR. Maybe Bradford/Benson for McCoy?

I think bradfords upside is too much to try and trade him now while orton is over rated and will fall. Your weakness is def WR but if he bits on Orton/Lloyd for Mcoy take it.

If not i say try orton for either boldin or maclin straight up. Either way i think you get rid of an over rated qb and an improvement at wr.

You could go with C but replace bradford with orton PT Cruiser will be better than Benson.

Thanks very much! I definitely think Bradford has the upside of the two.

I'm going to go straight up w/ Orton for Boldin....I don't like Maclin's mystery illness and if Vick goes down I'd hate to see the results with Young under center in Philly

You've been a big help, gents. ;-D
