Ok well I took a risk on Peyton, when I drafted a few weeks ago, and didnt draft a backup so now im kind of stuck. Here's my team in PPR league:
QB- Alex Smith SF WR-Andre Johnson HOU WR-Larry Fitzgerald ARZ WR-Mike Williams TB RB-Reggie Bush MIA RB-Tim Hightower WAS TE-Tony Gonzalez ATL W/R/T- Mario Manningham NYG K-Alex Henery PHI D- New England
BENCH
Peyton Manning IND Pierre Thomas NO Ladanian Tomlinson NYJ Braylon Edwards SF Delone Carter IND
I was offered a few trades Mike William TB for Matthew Stafford DET Or Mario Manningham NYG for Kevin Kolb ARI...
Which trade should i pull the trigger on...Or should I just keep Smith in @ QB?
And if i do make the trade who should I start in the W/R/T spot...
I'd take Stafford for Williams. Although you're taking another risk with a QB who has proven not to be durable, I think Manningham is a commodity worth protecting. There's no one serviceable on Waivers/Free Agency?
If your league does not penalize many pts. for interceptions, then I'd rather do the Manningham for Kolb deal. Otherwise, you may have to do the Mike Williams for Stafford deal out of necessity. Pierre Thomas would be a decent PPR option to fill in at your flex spot either way.
14tm. PPR+IDP+return-yds. league QB-Cam RB-Shady,DMartin WR-JulioJ,Colston,VJax TE-Finley K & IDP-[streaming] BN-JStewart,MReece,Britt,Amendola,BMyers,Kaepernick,BryceB
Unfortunately there is only Hasselback, Henne, Newton, and Sanchez on the waivers. I picked up Smith just because he has a pretty decent matchup this week. Should I make the trade or should I just play matchups until a better offer comes my way.
I think I would hang on to Williams and pick up either Henne or Sanchez. Henne first. Roll with him, it wont be great but he should be okay.
I can also see the Williams for Stafford. But if you are going to do that I would do it before game one, cause Stafford could go off and then you will be stuck.
