Hi there,
Decided to join a league at work this year and see how I do. Anyway I did quite a bit of research and went into draft with my plan... didn't turn out exactly as I had planned but for the most part I'm just curious how I ended up.
Standard Point System, non-ppr. Head to Head match-ups.
We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 flex (RB/WR), 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF/ST, and 6 Bench spots.
My Team:
QB- Ben Roethlisberger (PIT) @BAL
RB- Michael Turner (ATL) @CHI
RB- Jamaal Charles (KC) BUF
WR- Kenny Britt (TEN) @JAC (or consider Julio Jones, the bears have better pass defense and terrible run defense so I would expect the Falcons the run the ball a lot more, but on the other hand AZ offense is doing very well and have a new toy. Though the Titans are likely to pass the ball more against the Jags and I suspect Britt will be targeted alot)
WR- Wes Welker (NE) @MIA
W/R- LeGarrette Blount (TB) DET ( Unsure if I should start Blount or Jackson here)
TE- Antonio Gates (SD) MIN
K- Mason Crosby (GB) NO
DEF/ST - NYG @WAS
BN- QB Matt Hasselbeck (TEN) @JAC - I could try to waiver for Colt McCoy here but the difference would be Colt vs Jags or Hasselbeck vs Falcons in week 11 to cover Roethlisberger's bye.
BN- RB Fred Jackson (BUF) @KC - Splitting his carries with CJ Spiller worries me to start him in flex over Blount... thoughts on this?
BN- RB Brandon Jacobs (NYG) @WAS
BN- WR Julio Jones (ATL) @CHI
BN- WR Greg Little (CLE) CIN - waivered for Jordy Nelson (recent drop) currently.
BN- WR Sidney Rice (SEA) @SF - Wanted to hang onto him for a week or two to see what comes of it (was late round draft)
Any suggestions or critiques are very welcome, still trying to learn as I am new to this.
Any line up changes you think I should consider would also be appreciated.
