Could use some advice with a couple of Week 1 decisions... Take a look at my lineup and let me know what you think I should do @ my FLEX and DST spots:
QB - Vick RB1 - SJax RB2 - Blount WR1 - AJ WR2 - M. Williams (TB) FLEX - Pick 1: Best, Manningham, F. Jackson, Burelson, S. Smith (CAR) K - Rackers DST - Pick 1: Giants, Lions, Texans
*My main issue is really how many Lions and/or Bucs do I want to start? I'm definitely starting 2 Bucs in M. Williams & Blount, but do I also want to start 2 Lions, too in (possibly) Best or Burleson and Lions DST? Since it's a PPR, I was going to go w/ Manningham, but Eli has looked so bad this preseason, I'm not so sure about it now. I picked up the Texans DST thinking they had a good matchup with old-man Collins starting in place of P. Manning.
As always - any and all input is welcome and greatly appreciated! WHIR - leave a link
I would run with Manningham at the flex. Redskins secondary is nothing intimidating and Manningham should put up some solid numbers even with the inconsistency of Eli.
Defense either the Giants or Texans. I would take a risk with Texans because Wade Phillips has looked pretty good this preseason and the whole qb situation in Indy should play out well for the Texans
14 Team Yahoo PPR, 2WR, 2RB, Flex M. Stafford, T. Tebow D. McFadden, S. Greene, M. Hardesty, D. Murray A. Johnson, D. Bryant, M. Manningham, S. Breaston, M. Crabtree J. Witten J. Feely Jets D
Roll with Manningham and the Giants D. Mario should have a good game despite Eli's consistency. He should get a ton of targets. I'm not crazy about the Texans D, even against Indy. The Lions will do well, but I see the Bucs putting up plenty of points. G Men should be good.
QB Romo & Cutler; RB: R Grant, R Mathews, F Jones, F Jackson. M Tolbert. & C Williams; WR/TE used as same: G Jennings, A Gates, M Austin, S Holmes, D Keller; Kicker: M Crosby. TD League-bonus-100 yds rushing, receiving, & 300 yard passing.
