Waiver Wire

Postby mulishaman187 » Fri Sep 09, 2011 5:48 pm

Thinking about dropping Mike sims-walker and picking up Jacoby Ford. I have Bowe, Mike Williams, Malcolm Floyd, & Maclin already. We run 2 WRs and a WR/TE & WR/RB flex. I feel like Ford could have more upside than sims-walker this year. Talk me out of it or tell me I'm right.

Your crazy...Stl threw the ball a chit load last year. Now Josh Mcdaniels is running the offense and look for them to throw even more this year. MSW could be the go to guy. I drafted MSW as a sleeper and think he has tons of upside.

yeah both are upside picks... but I like the QB in STL better, I would stick with MSW.

I think I'd do it. Jacoby Ford is an interesting player because of how much speed he possesses. He'll probably be hit or miss this year, but I could easily see him having a few 150 yard games.

Sims-Walker on the other hand I compare to Roy Williams joining the Dallas Cowboys. Large WR with a couple good seasons under his belt, but is coming off a big down year. He'll probably have 700+ yards and 6-7 TD's, but it's not like you'll be dropping the next Greg Jennings. I expect Brandon Gibson, who's been named a starter and actually had more receptions/yards last year, to be the break out WR to own in that offense.

I like Bradford better than Campbell as well, but is Sam a QB that will hit a sophomore slump? Also Ford will be returning kicks this year. Now I'm looking at Henderson from the Saints as well, Colston. Is out 4-6, so Henderson could have a few big games.
