WR2 McCluster v Austin (or...)

I have Felix Jones at flex, and Roddy White at WR1. Miles Austin is my #2 WR, but I truly hate the matchup v NYJ. I'm leaning towards McCluster v BUF since I expect KC to get him the ball a lot and BUF to not stop him so much. The only other matchup I find remotely tempting is Knox v ATL but I'm not crazy about him right yet. Who would you start and why? It seems like Austin is the most likely to draw the attention of Revis. KC's gameplan is sure to be run heavy, and Dexter is sure to get some of that. I'd like Knox if I knew he was gonna get the snaps, but I don't, so I'd tend to lean towards your decision and go with McCluster. Is your league PPR?

i'm not sure i'd start mccluster. he's not going to be starting at WR or RB, i'm guessing he'll get a few touches a game plus returns, which i don't think justifies WR2.

i'd much rather start austin and know he's going to get at least 7-8 balls thrown his way over the course of the game and hope he does something with them.

its too early in the season to start getting cute, start your studs.

Yeah I think although the matchup is not ideal you should start Austin. Start your studs week 1. Worry about match ups and sleepers and everything down the road, but you drafted Austin high to start for you.

I'm starting McCluster as WR3. Yes it's the first game, but it's never too early to go with your gut.

Against Buffalo , he could easily do some of the things we saw from Sproles Thursday night.

Austin's hammy issues coupled with a great NJ secondary, I would start McCluster over him in a heartbeat.

Austin is guaranteed to get to get looks, and they will get him touches no matter what. They will even move him around to get away from Revis. Austin over McCluster without a doubt. McCluster may get like 2 touches.

Jamaal Charles might have 500 yards this weekend. I don't see any reason to think KC is gonna air it out. They'll lead early, and run a lot.

Also, I think assuming Revis will be on Austin when Dez Bryant is just as dangerous is a bad assumption. They'll move Revis around, and Austin will get his opportunities because Romo is a good enough QB to find the open man.

I would definitely go Austin over McCluster.

last i heard charles was gimped a bit with a hammy or something with his leg..im sure hes fine tho..but if he is a bit hampered and austin may only get a few catches..id try MCcluster but id dought he gets 100yds or even a td

I also heard that Dez was gonna see more of Revis while Cromartie took Austin. I cannot trust Haley to get anyone (save for Todd Jones) more than 10 touches and when you consider McCluster will only be on the field 20% of the time, go with Austin and hope Garrett knows how to get around Rex Ryan's defense.
