I'm interested in this too. I am seriously thinking about benching Rice vs Pitt and playing Hightower in his place. Bradshaw doesn't sit well with me either this week I'd love to play Tate vs the Colts if he is worth it. Risky but a gamble I'm willing to take.
10 Team QB Flex 1PPR - Week 3
QB: M. Stafford, J. Flacco RB: C. Johnson, D. Murray, D. Sproles, CJ Spiller, M. Leshoure WR: J. Jones, E. Decker, A. Brown, P. Garcon, B. Lafell TE: J. Finley, M. Bennett K: D. Akers DEF: Ravens
Just from what I've read, Ward is the starter and Tate would be the back up.. That being said Grant is the starter in GB and Starks ended up with more carries, yards, and had a strong 17 yard TD. Starks also got the goalline carries and was in the game in the end.
I know people say the preseason doesnt mean anything, but numbers dont lie. Tate did much better in the preseason games averaging 7.4 ypc and also had more catches averaging 9.0 ypr. I wouldnt be suprised if Ward does indeed start but Tate ends up with more yards, carries, catches, and is more likely to get a score. Tate was in line to start before getting injured last year and opening the door for Foster. How would it be that Tate takes advantage of an injured Foster and proves why he was drafted where he was and why he was slated to start last year.
Flip a coin. Who knows. I'd go with Tate because he looked good in pre-season, but (dissapointingly) it sounds like Ward is starting. Houston will probably give up big games to both of them, so either way you should get decent production as long as Foster is out.
From what I'm hearing on NFL Network they are all saying to go with Tate if Foster doesn't start.

Definitely looks like a Grant/Starks situation. Ward is the starter but Tate is the preferred. RBBCs are the worst, but if you were gonna gamble and go with the decision, at least go with the better back, which is clearly Ben Tate. I mean... it doesn't make sense to gamble conservatively...
