I traded knowshon moreno/michael turner/ ahmad bradshaw for michael vick/rashard mensenhall/daniel thomas. Was this a smart move? This is my team now:

QB vick
RB mendenhall
RB matt forte
RB/WR steve johnson (wr buff)
WR calvin johnson
WR roddy white
TE kellen winslow
D steelers
K nate kaeding

I have josh freeman and rothlisberger on my bench and the rest are juat waiver pickups.

Vick could win you the league. You're still solid at RB (helps barber went down so Forte will grab more carries). I like that trade.

Vick is surely better than Roth and Freeman but I question how much. Losing that depth is going to hurt a bit at RB with Thomas being injured.

I call it even. My next move would be pawning off Freeman before the season and getting another RB to shore up that depth. The reason I say Freeman is I dont think he will be as good as last year. Roth however put up points per game close to any of the qb's from 3-5 last year. Very solid reliable back up.

I think you did ok, but I would look to Trade freeman/Thomas

So I took you guys' advice. I ended up trading freeman and I got frank gore. So this is how my new team looks:

QB Michael Vick
RB Frank Gore
RB Matt Forte
WR/RB Rashard Mendenhall
WR Calvin Johnson
WR Roddy White
TE Kellen Winslow
D/ST Pittsburgh Steelers
K Nate Kaeding

I think I'm solid enough to be competitive on a weekly basis. What do y'all think?

Hahaha. 10 team league. Auction draft. Got mendy, vick, gore through trades for freeman, michaelturner, ahmad bradshaw, and knowshon moreno.

That's amazing you got Gore for Freeman. You should give me that guy's email I want to invite him to one of my big money leagues.

you give Turner, got Mendenhall
you give Bradshaw, got Gore
you give Moreno as little gift

in the mean time, you think you can trade all your bench for AP, AJohnson, Rodger, Rice, Chris Johnson and Gates?
