Well, I think its safe to say that the Lions are no longer a joke. The punch line was always a D that just couldn't stop headache with a bottle full of Vicodin. Now they are close to formidable.
Not going to read too much into the first game of the year. Thought the Bucs came out flat, Freeman looked bad and Blount looked sluggish.
Best looked better than I hoped. Seemed like he got a lot of first down runs for good yardage. Stafford looked good, then nervous, then okay again, but he left a lot on the table. Megatron is not only indestructable, but uncoverable too. Big win for the good guys.

Quick question for anyone that was able to watch this game - how many fumbles did TB lose? According to the CBS Gametracker, it says that lost 2 fumbles, yet I don't see two lost fumbles in the play-by-play. Seems like it only says 1 lost fumble on most of the other services, like Yahoo and ESPN, but I don't know if they use the same stat providers.
