PPR Britt, Hightower, Bush? WHIR

Postby Yelin7 » Sat Sep 10, 2011 11:02 am

For my flex in TEAM 1, do I go with

Kenny Britt @Jac,

Reggie Bush @NE

Tim Hightower @NYG

If Arian Foster can't play, I might only have to decide between Bush and Hightower (both with PPR potential).

WHIRPPR Leagues (1 pt/rec, 20yds=1 pt rushing and receiving (150 yds=3 pt bonus); 50 yds passing= 1 pt (300 yds=3 point bonus)

TEAM 1:
QBs: Drew Brees, Sam Bradford

RBs: Arian Foster, Beanie Wells, Tim Hightower, Reggie Bush, Willis McGahee

WRs: Greg Jennings, Dwayne Bowe, Kenny Britt, Michael Crabtree, Andre Roberts

TE: Jermichael Finley

K: Matt Bryant

DEF: Packers, Giants

TEAM 2:
QBs: Peyton Manning, Matt Hassleback

Rbs: Jamaal Charles, Jahvid Best, Tim Hightower, Willis McGahee

WRs: Vincent Jackson, Wes Welker, Steve Smith (Car), Danny Amendola, Nate Burleson

TE: Jermichael Finley

K: Dan Carpenter

DEF: 49ers

I'd start anyone against the Giants. That D is in shambles. Hightower should have a good day.

I know the Giants D is depressing, but I just can't start any offensive player on the Redskins not named Moss or Cooley.

Given that, Bush is a huge question mark right now but has a favorable matchup in NE. I've also been in a dilemma about starting Bush but I'm leaning towards not doing it.

That said, I think Britt is your best option here just to feel out how Bush can do. Hope this helps.

Britt or Hightower is the real choice I think.

With Britt, you have to wonder who is going to score the TDs for Ten. I think Johnson and Cook have as much of a chance as Britt.

Hightower is going to have a good game, I would start him. Plus, he has PPR potential too. He will get 4 or so receptions if not a couple more. The TD potential for him is better than Britt IMHO.

I would roll with Hightower. Britt is a sleeper though, so its really just making your choice, rolling with it and seeing where things fall. You got to love Fantasy Football.

Thanks for some of your replies. I'm surprised people are shooting down Bush. While NE is tough, MIA RB Dan Thomas is injured and Bush could be the premier guy. Moreover, he could easily rack up 8-9 receptions in a ppr league. I like hightower too, but I also am starting NYG Defense, which people are killing. I think I'll go with Britt and save the Bush/Hightower debate if/when Arian Foster is pulled from the line up.
