My receiving core is Wayne (WR1), Nicks (WR2), Holmes (Flex), Julio Jones, Lee Evans. Rice is my RB1 and I have Best as my RB2 and Reggie Bush, Thomas Jones on the bench. In a 1 PPR league.
My 1st question is: With Manning out indefinitely, would it be crazy to bench Wayne and put Holmes in his place and have Bush as my flex?
Question 2: With me using Holmes as a flex spot, would you start Bush over Best? Or Bush over Holmes (huge stretch)? Last year NE had a lot of trouble against the run, but Miami's offense could be pretty bad this year (surprise), so should I just sit him and see if he can produce?
Any thought are greatly appreciated! And as always, WHIR.
wayne is still elite and collins can get it to him id wait for bush to prove hes gonna be something special not in love with matchup either stick with your wideouts its where your strong and best is gonna go off as hes the starter stick with him
QB: Philip Rivers WR: Andre Johnson WR: Miles Austin RB: Tim Hightower TE: Brandon Pettigrew WR/RB/TE: Kenny Britt K: Alex Henery DEF: Detroit Bench RB:Mark Ingram WR: Percy Harvin RB:CJ spiller QB: Chad Henne
i expect Collins is going to look for Wayne constantly as he gets into the rhythm and the offense adapts to the realisation there is no Peyton on the field.
Best is not in the same offense as he was last year and will see his productivity increase this year.
Thanks for your reply. Personally, I would keep in Wayne (don't bench a stud you drafted high with a good matchup in week 1). However, I would consider putting Bush over Holmes. Don't sit Best. The Bush situation is definitely intriguing with the PPR option. I think he will have a great season.

That's why I drafted Bush at all is because of our format. But thinking about it a little more thanks to everyone's input has me wanting to see if Bush can produce in his first game with a new, and much worse offense than the Saints had. So I will probably just stick with what I have this week to feel everything out. Not sure why I'd question picks I drafted so high, especially when Wayne still had a great preseason despite no Manning.
