Flex: Owen Daniels or Willis McGahee?

Postby whiteshark17 » Sun Sep 11, 2011 2:10 am

Highly competitive 12 team leauge with .5 point PPR and pretty standard otherwise. Already started Jermichael Finley at TE and need to pick a flex. My team also has Andre Johnson so I am wondering if I should put my eggs in more baskets so to speak and not rely on so many Texans recieving options in what should be a blowout. McGahee does get a tasty Oakland matchup and goalline duty this week. I also have Jonathan Stewart but am not considering him a safe enough option in a game that Carolina should be out of early. Give me a link and I will answer your question as well.

Denver is going to go with the hot hand in this game. So its Risky starting somebody who is sharing carries. If Moreno gets hot, which he easily could they will stick with him. Daniels should do well against Indys terrible D. If they try to clamp down on Andre they might find Daniels early and often.

I'd most likely go with Daniels. He offers a level of upside that rivals Graham and Gates, based upon his limited performance at the end of last year. The only shot MaGahee has to record some decent points is to sneak in a goal line score, which is a large assumption and in my opinion is not worth hedging your risk around.
