Cam Newton's real value

I watched the game today in its entirety. I think the guy might be for real (at least for fantasy). I have Romo and Freeman as my QBs. Would you spend 5 real life dollars (transaction fee), drop freeman and pick this guy up just to block the Eli Manning, Joe Flaco guys from adding him, or possibly as trade-bait?

I'm considering it.

If you're going to block people, I wouldn't drop a proven guy with similar upside to do it. If you have a black hole at the end of a relatively deep bench, then why not? Otherwise, let someone else worry about what's still bound to be pretty inconsistent play - at best - from Mr. Heisman 2010

I'm in a league with a FA auction we get $200 for the season. What would you guys pay for Newton? I have a guy easily droppable for this and I have Romo as my starter with no backup.
