in a non ppr league i love ap. mccoy is great in ppr but with all of the weapons in philly who knows how he will do in a non ppr (vick leading in rushing last season). vincent jackson is a talented wide receiver but if you watched the game then you would have noticed that rivers hardly threw to any of his wide receivers. he threw to his running backs and gates. it seems like jackson's hold out really showed rivers how to play without him.
minnesota didnt play to good but yet ap still gained close to 100 yards (98). imagine what he does once mcnabb gets a few games under his belt
you would still have depth in wr and you upgrade your rb
i would do it
as for the steve smith trade; i personally am not buying into the whole cam newton trend but best is still injury prone (concussions) and with calvin johnson there i just dont know how much he will actually do especially in a non ppr league.
both risky to start (i dont really know how in a 10 team league i play in a bigger league) but it seems like smith might be more worth the risk but be aware that newton might just be a one week wonder
sorry i forgot to mention that we start three wr's so after doing this trade my wr 3's would be steve smith or mike thomas. Knowing that, do you still do this trade?
Qb: Rivers, RGIII Rb: Mccoy, Forte, Stevan Ridley, Shonne Greene, Michael Bush, Alex Green Wr: Victor Cruz, Andre Johnson, Dwayne Bowe, Demariyus Thomas, Britt Te: Witten Def: Sea K: janikowski
you starting wide receivers would be calvin, maclin, and steve smith. i dont know what the other teams look like in your league but having steve smith right now is good. while I personally dont buy into cam newton, he wont drop severely and he if has anything close to even half of what he had then he will be a pretty good number 3. i would still do it
