Trading for Rivers..WHIR

All TD's 6 in this league, start 2 HB's 2 flex, 2 Wr's..I have insane HB depth, and the other guy really needs HB's..10 team $$$$$ League

What would you propose...Ive tried Fleix + Eli for Rivers with no luck

A top level Qb would just give me an unstoppable team IMO

QB: Rivers, Cassel

WR: Wayne, LLoyd, Holmes, Moorse, Bess
TE: Winslow


I was thinking Eli + Charles for Rivers + Benson, but I really dont want to include Charles at all as he is an auto start every week, where as Benson may or may not start every week with all the HB depth I have.

Also was thinking F. Jackson + Tolbert+ Eli for Rivers + Jacobs..but I think he's too stupid to accept that, even though IMO he would have a much better starting lineup with that trade.

man thats tough, i dont see how he could part with rivers for eli...my best bet would be to shop eli for someone else and then offer that player. who is his backup qb and whos yours?

I have no backup, his is Cassel, Cutler is on Waivers, I'm going to try to get him...but this league is so HB reliant, with 2 flex ( you can start 4 Hb's every week, I just dont see why he wouldn't trade for the Tolbert + Jackson ( or BJGE) + Eli for Rivers

NM u start 2 WR i wouldnt do that. At this point you are prolly better off waiting a week or 2 and try eli and hope one of your backups stays hot for rivers

I don't think you can get Rivers from him w/o giving up way tooo much. I'd stay pat and try to claim Cutler off waivers. Another sleeper this year that probably is available in your league is Fitzpatrick.

I agree with this, try and grab Cutler off the WW. I doubt you would be able to get Rivers with out giving up too much.

It can't hurt to keep sending him offers though and hope that he accepts, just make sure you dont give up too much value.

I can't see landing Rivers with Eli/Cassel as the replacement QBs, especially after KC's horrible game against the Bills....

Cutler should be okay for you. If you had to make the trade, I'd actually offer Charles + Eli for Rivers + 1 (Maybe Lloyd or Holmes?). I believe someone else said similar, and I agree with them.
