Drop ? for Doucet WHIR!

Postby mojoorising » Mon Sep 12, 2011 1:55 pm

I really need to make things happen in my WR 3 spot so shooting darts at the board. I'm leaning towards dropping Collie cause i think he is going to be terrible this year. Who would you drop?

QB - Vick
RB - Chris Johnson
RB - J Best
WR - Megatron
WR - Marshall
WR - Collie
TE - Gates
KR - Gostowski
Def - Packers

Bench - S Greene
Bench - Lynch
Bench - McGahee
Bench - M Bush
Bench - S Rice
Bench - Crabtree
Bench - Henderson

Between dropping Rice and Collie I'd have to say Rice b/c he's hurt, SEA's schedule is tougher than Indy's/Cards' and, when healthy, Rice draws the top CBs. Clearly he has more talent than Collie but Rice also has T Jackson throwing to him and that's never going to amount to much.
Collins should settle in for the Colts and will eventually start to see Collie a little more.

A la 'Curb Your Enthusiasm': 'Having said that...'
I wouldn't start either player over Doucet after yesterday's performance....which was a little shocking so pick him up but don't expect that kind of out put every week. Kolb lit it up but it was against the Panthers...Cards have an OK schedule the next few weeks and Doucet won't have the top CB covering him unless LFitz goes down. Hi Ho Silver!!

IMO Devry will be a fine fill in for a few weeks.

I'd look at either of the lesser Wash WR's this year as a replacement, I see thme both having decent WR3 capability if they are on waivers.

I would not want to start Ducet over Devry thats for sure, or either Wash WR barring a horrible matchup.

Sidney will be servicable to IMO after he gets back...I'd just sit tight IMO and roll with Devry for next week and re-evaluate.

Thanks for help on mine

Agreed Henderson will make a serviceable 3 and should be able to fill in the spot until Rice returns.

I agree with everyone else, I believe Devry would be your best option at WR3 until Sidney comes back healthy and proves himself. Especially since Colston is injured.

Doucet nice speculative add. Keep Rice for sure.
Doucet for Collie makes a lot of sense with or without Peyton.

I'd narrow it down to Collie, Rice or Crabtree. I don't trust any of those offenses. I think I'd let go of either Rice, as his QB looks bad, or Collie, being the 2nd or 3rd option with Collins as QB isn't promising.
