Trade help: Arian Foster/Mendenhall deal

Postby Jetsfan819 » Mon Sep 12, 2011 11:52 pm

.5 PPR, 16 team league. Fosters owner offered me Foster and DeSean Jackson for Mendenhall and either Steve Smith or Kenny Britt. I have Ben Tate, and had been trying to unload Tate on him. Are either of them a good move, or is Foster too high a risk at this point?

Thanks!

Too me Foster is a high risk type player this year. He has had one good year, was undrafted and Tate was supposed to be the starter last year before his injury. I think that it is a tough offer, but you have great depth at wr with Britt and Smith. I think that I would stick with what yo uhave right now, but a lot would also depend on what your rosters both are. Good luck.

i'm in the same boat as you since i have tate and am wondering if i want to trade for foster and i look at it like this: If foster plays, tate has still earned himself at least 10+ carries if foster is out then tate gets all the carries with ward being injured. Is it more risky to give up mendy for a timeshare or would you rather keep mendy with the hopes that foster is out and tate becomes the man. I can't give you a definitive answer since i can't even decide this for my self but those are the pros and cons that I am weighing.

since i mentioned it lol help? viewtopic.php?f=18&t=496021

Just one week. Mendy will be primary back for Pitts no question with Redman getting some garbage/3rd down/and a few glcs. Still though. Foster will be the starter when healthy.

Agree it's just one week, and I'm far from jumping off the Mendenhall bandwagon, but my team is as follows:

Freeman
Mendenhall
S-Jax
D. Williams
Britt
Smith (Car)
Winslow
Patriots D
Cundiff

Bench
Tate
Jacoby Jones
Ford
Snelling
Kendricks
Karim

Any other opinions?
