So my question is would you drop Meachem for Steve Smith Car. My drops cost $2 and adds cost $1 so I want to be careful not to waste my money and my ww spot which is 3rd. What I'm asking is will SS keep this up or was that just a one time thing?
Also I'm a little worried about my WR situation because it seems to me like I have all WR#2/3 and no WR#1s.
QB Tony Romo RB Ray Rice RB Darren McFadden WR Brandon Marshall WR Mario Manningham TE Owen Daniels K Billy Cundiff Def/St Chargers BN Jeremy Maclin BN Robert Meachem BN Cam Newton BN Beanie Wells BN Michael Bush BN Kevin Boss
I would make this move, especially since Steve Smith is the number 1 WR in Carolina. Brees spreads the balls around so much none of his WR's really have as much fantasy value.
How's the FA list on TEs? IMO, Kevin Boss is a weak TE2 and you could probably drop him for Steve Smith. Meachem still has at least 2-3 more games worth of solid play until Colston is back. If you feel that you have to drop Meachem for Steve Smith, then go for it.
14tm. PPR+IDP+return-yds. league QB-Cam RB-Shady,DMartin WR-JulioJ,Colston,VJax TE-Finley K & IDP-[streaming] BN-JStewart,MReece,Britt,Amendola,BMyers,Kaepernick,BryceB
I'll second that notion (drop Boss for SSmith). I do think he'll keep it up. However, Meachem will also be valuable. Once you have them both on your team, your next step is to look at the starting rosters of the other managers and note the ones who might have weak receivers (1 strong wr, no other good receivers). Try the Danny Amendola owner, he might be hurting right now. Send them a trade package, 2 for 1 (e.g. meachem and brandon marshall for calvin johnson?) and hopefully a manager will bite. Now, you have that WR1 that you covet AND an empty roster spot to pick Boss back up or a better TE (or defense or whatever). Good luck!

i agree, drop boss and add steve smith asap. Why would you be worried about this game being a fluke. IF he puts up half of those numbers next week you still want to start him.
Probably a high point in the season but Smith is very talented. I'd rather have Smith than a b/u TE which can be had in case of injury or wait til Houston's bye week.
