Should I trade Best for a third WR?

Postby Bolthead04 » Tue Sep 13, 2011 1:11 am

QB - Stafford, Romo
WR - C. Johnson, M. Austin, A. Collie, B. Edwards, H. Ward
RB - J Charles, M. Forte, J. Best, C. Williams
TE - J. Graham, G. Olsen
K - M. Bryant
Def - Chicago, Will pick one up this week for final roster spot

I'm thin on WR. I just missed so many quality picks, so I'm trying to find the best trade I can.

I could use an extra every week WR, and Best seems to be the best trade chip I can offer without hurting myself... The best WW options based on Week One/Preseason rankings include Ochocinco, Lee Evans, A.J. Green, Meachem, Doucet, Cobb....

If I wanted to trade Best, what type of receiver would I be chasing?

I would stay put. You don't have much depth at RB to work with. Cadillac is good for this week, but how many others? If you are itching for move drop Olsen and pick up Doucet, or OchoCinco.

Figured I could play the wire. With injuries being more common this year, there wiwll be plenty of backups to get solid carries.

I'm actually hanging on to Olsen as tradebait. I'm hoping with Cam's big debut and the TE scheming Carolina is doing (supposedly), he will have some value.

I would drop Braylon (if you have to) for either AJ Green (long-term) or Meachem (short-term).
Alex Smith is back to his gun-shy ways and 49ers seem to want to be a run-oriented offense. Either player would be at least a decent WR3 for your team IMO.

Keep him. He had a very decent showing against the Bucs, and stayed healthy. Also, props for getting the big 3 on the Lions offense. :)

Thanks everyone - returned the help. :)

Dropped Sproles for Carnell Williams and dropped Braylon for A.J. Green and Arizona for Tampa Bay...

No one likes Lee Evans at all? I thought he had a good shot for a breakout year personally...
