Pettigrew. KC just gave up like 478 pts to ...what's that dude's name on the Bills? The Bills had like 1 maybe 2 TE TDs all last season, and 2 last week. KC obviously has some severe problems defending against TEs and Stafford is a witch compared to Fitzpatrick. Good luck!
Go with the proven commodity: VD. More TDs than any other TE in the last 2 years - with a niners team that was probably worse than this year. I've had him on at least one team all of the last 3 years; he will put up some stinkers but also a lot of 2 TD games.

Go with Pettigrew. They did give up a lot to "that dude" last week,............ 3000 yds and 23 td's in 2010 .. and some still don't know his name,.. Geez!!
BTW,.. thanks for the help with mine!!
TD 6-12 varies on length, Any reverse role TD is DOUBLE PTS
Lets look at last years stats: Davis: 56 receptions for 914 yards & 7 tds Pettigrew: 71 receptions for 722 yards & 4 tds
Lets look at last weeks stats: Davis: 4 receptions for 57 yards & 0 tds Pettigrew: 5 receptions for 47 yards & 0 tds
This year, Pettigrews QB is showing to be a MUCH better than Davis' QB
and this week Pettigrew and the Lions are facing a weak KC defense that allowed 2 TE touchdowns last week! and Davis is facing Dallas which as not a great, but better defense than KC.
I personally like Davis between these two and here’s why.
Megatron is the man in Detroit and if they get near the goal line IMO he’s the only trustworthy target that Stafford is looking towards. ie. Megatrons 2nd TD last week, SIIIICK!!! If its that simple why wouldn’t you do that every time?
Davis is a freak athlete for his size (6’3”, 250lbs) and he is Alex Smith’s favorite target, and I understand that its Alex Smith but Davis is still his favorite target and Davis is worthy of a start. He had 7 TD’s last season and 13 TDs the year before. If Gore stays healthy San Fran is capable of moving the ball and they will score and the majority of Smiths passes are going to go to Vernon. Lets take a look at the stats from last week.
Stats go - Rec – Yds – TDs – Targets
SF Total – 15 – 124 – 0 – 20 V. Davis – 5 – 47 – 0 – 6
Det Total – 24 – 305 – 3 – 32 Pettigrew – 4 – 57 – 0 – 6
Davis was targeted on 30% of SF’s passing plays compared to 19% for Pett. Davis had 33% of their rec compared to Petts 17% Davis had 38% of their passing yards compared to Petts 19%
Neither player found the end zone but SF didn’t have a passing TD and when it came down to it, Detroit threw 3 of them and none of them went to Pett because he is not their red zone target. Stafford had an awesome game and that is the only reason why you saw Pett show up on the score sheet and why you’re considering this play. If Stafford drops in performance the slightest Pett isn’t even going to be a question for a fantasy start, he’ll be warming your bench. We all know Alex Smith is well, not good. But even a not good QB is throwing it to someone. And Smith had a bad game last week (124 pass yds) and Davis still at the very least matched Pettigrew. Vernon is going to get his
Start Davis here and you’ll be happy that you did! GL and thanks for your help with mine!
