Do I drop Sam Bradford for someone else?

Postby HotHandz305 » Tue Sep 13, 2011 3:05 pm

Currently Bradford is sitting on my bench and Romo is my starter. Romo has good or decent match ups until week 8 when they go against Philly.

My Roster is in my Signature

My question is with the injury to D. Amendola and not so great out look of the Rams at the time being should I drop Bradford for any of the typical hot commodities wether they be QBs or some offensive weapons?

Some plausible names are:

Chad Henne
Cam Newton
Aaron Hernandez
Devery Henderson
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Ben Tate
Cadillac Williams
Robert Meachem
Santana Moss
Rob Gronkowski
Brandon Jacobs
Jimmy Graham
Mark Sanchez
Rex Grossman

The biggest thing about my league is the small amount of bench spots, 4, so as much as I'd love to stash another WR or RB I dont know if anyone currently rostered is worth dropping. That or I would have to drop Bradford to make room for one leaving me with Romo for time being.

With Vernon Davis at TE even with a less than par performance none of the TEs listed would help me or be worth a bench spot I think.

I'm also not quite sold on any of the QBs available being a better start than room for the next 6 weeks or so and not sure if they would be a better person to grab now for later in the season instead of Sam Bradford.

Any advice on if I should bother picking anyone up or stay put would be appreciated.
Week 13 Roster
QB Tony Romo
WR1 Greg Jennings
WR2 Vincent Jax
RB1 Arian Foster
RB2 LeSean McCoy
TE Vernon Davis
Flex (W/R/T) Willis McGahee
K Billy Cundiff
DST GB
IDP Patrick Willis
BEN Roy Helu
BEN Fred Davis
BEN Stevie Johnson

I honestly think with the team you have you should just stay put. Your team looks very good the way it is.

I agree i like Bradford. With McDaniels running the show he will bounce back.

I agree, your team is pretty good for now. But, Cam Newton would be a good backup if your uncomfortable with Bradford. I'd wait a week though, just to see if Newton can actually keep this up. Either way I'd stick with having a QB on the bench b/c Romo has gotten injured before.
