#10 spot in Waivers

Postby allegajj » Tue Sep 13, 2011 3:06 pm

The top players on waivers are:
Chad Henne
Aaron Hernandez
Cam Newton
Ryan Fitzpatrick
49ers D/ST
Devery Henderson
Scott Chandler
Rex Grossman
Mark Sanchez
Early Doucet
Matt Hasselbeck
Cadillac Williams
Doug Baldwin
Texans D/ST
Dustin Keller
Jermaine Gresham
Randall Cobb
Fred Davis
Ed Dickson
David Akers
Redskins D/ST
Jabar Gaffney
Earnest Graham
Jeff King
Nate Burleson
Benjamin Watson

I have the 10th waiver spot out of 10 teams. Should I make a move here to replace Amendola or is it not even worth it? If so how would you rank some of the players I should target on waivers?

waiver 1: c.newton
waiver 2: c.henne

your QB isnt that great.
spare a spot for newton and hope he become next michael vick, matter in fact, if he can stay as good as week1, he will be better than Romo

I personally think your QB's are very nice, Stafford and Romo will both likely finish in the top-10 QB's with each having the potential for a top-5 season. One person that I might look to snatch up is Burleson, I think he will end up having a decent year coupled with the fact that you have Calvin Johnson makes it an even better pick-up.

I would wait till after waivers, you should be able to move up quite a few spots on the 1st week, so going into week 2, you could easily have a #2 or #1 spot

i personally think Romo is average the best as starting QB and Stafford is also average.
this year, the only viable starting QB are Rodger, Vick, Brady, Brees, Rivers
some people think Romo, Freeman or Schaub will have a big year, well, i would rather to gamble on Newton.

that's just my thought, and i'll take my words back, your QB is not bad, but wasn't good, it's just average QB

In 10ppl fantasy football league, Romo is 6th QB at best (would be 7th if manning is healthy), therefore, i won't say Romo is good QB.
But in whole NFL league, Romo is good QB

seriously, having QB that finish in top10 doesn't prove that's a good QB in the world of fantasy football. (in 10 teams league, you got 10th QB, well, it's still top 10 QB, but all the other team have even better QB)

Nate Burleson or Aaron Hernandez are the names I like on that list.
