Waiver 1 = 85 Replacement?

I have the 1st waiver and 85 as my #3 starting WR.

Should I spend my waiver on Devery Henderson, or Early Doucet? Or hold steady?

I have Garcon on my bench. 12 team league, standard scoring.

Id hold pat, or drop Garcon and pickup Henderson if your that uneasy about Ocho...

Ocho is going to struggle a bit the first few weeks, but the Pats throw ALOT, and he has the potential to become a big play threat once he gets acclimated with the Pats offense and builds a rapport with Brady imo.

I think Henderson would be the best one to pickup but I would stay put.

Ill give you some advice. DONT play Saints unless its Breezy. One week they bust out for 50 points then the next week its zero. You drafted 85, you didnt think he was going to be banging out of the gate did you? Either give it some time or go with Doucet. I would not touch Henderson. Just my opinion though.

Not at all, but I certainly could bench him until he catches up. Would Doucet be worth a waiver 1 as a short-term replacement? I guess that's my question.

Do NOT use a number 1 waiver priority on Devery Henderson or Early Doucet. There are plenty of WR options that are bound to be available while you wait on Chad or Garcon to emerge and still more will come out of the woodwork as the weeks go by.

If Henderson was available in your league, surely guys like Jacoby Jones (Walter almost certainly out week 2), Eric Decker (Lloyd MRI), and Jabar Gaffney (tasty matchup against an ARZ D that gave up 400+ to Newton) are available. If you're really dedicated, waivers clear at 3AM Eastern time. See which one of the above cleared in approximately this order:

Doucet
Jacoby
Devery
Gaffney
Decker

Any of the top 4 will serve as a one week replacement, no need to burn top waiver priority to get the pick of this incredibly motley litter. Too hard to separate any one from another, though I will say that for just week 2, Jacoby Jones is the best short term play, assuming no miraculous recovery from Walter. He has been a reliable starter when counted on as a starting WR. Check last year's game log over the last 4 weeks if you don't believe me.
