Week 2: Split Decision between Michael Vick and Mark Sanchez

Postby steanerdadealer » Tue Sep 13, 2011 8:57 pm

I'm split right now between who I should plan on starting for Week 2. Michael Vick and the Eagles are at ATL this week, while Mark Sanchez and the Jets are at home against JAC. Current project points puts Vick ahead significantly (+10 pts). I'm not sure how well the defense of either of their opponents performed this past week. Any suggestions?

obv the jets have the easier matchup...but, the jets should get back into trying to run the ball more..they have to

unless you predict vick to have the shittiest game that he could possible have...i don't see how you can bench him in favor of sanchez

while sanchez had big numbers, he made some bad plays doing so...if the jets lost the onus would've fallen on him

This one's a no-brainer to me. Michael Vick. He runs and he throws and it's not like Atlanta's defense is scary. Definitely go with Vick without any second thoughts.

Alright! Decision made. Appreciate the help. This is my first year actually participating in Fantasy Football and I have found myself managing 3 teams in 3 leagues on 3 different websites.

I was looking at the possibilities while scratching my head when comparing their opponents defenses and taking into consideration of who was away and who was home.

I will most likely be on this quite often until I get the hang of what to look at and how to set up for taking home the Win.

Welcome to Fantasy Football. Rule #1 is start your studs, especially early in the season when in all reality we dont know that much about matchups. But really for the rest of the season as long as Vick is not injured he should be your starter.
