QB & WR Help Required

Postby Dublin1 » Thu Sep 15, 2011 1:10 am

Hello All,

Thanks for taking the time to review my questions.

Who should I start at QB: Grossman or Freeman?

Who should I start as my 3 wide-receivers: Vincent Jackson, Mario Manningham, Deion Branch and Steve Smith?

Thanks!

I'd start Grossman and bench Smith.

Take a look at mine?

The Cards secondary got torn apart by the Panthers last week and if they can I dont see any reason why the Redskins won't. I'd go Grossman based simply on the match up. As for your WR, I'd go VJax, Manningham, and Branch. That matchup for Carolina against the Packers is going to be a brutal one, I dont anticipate them doing anywhere near as well as in week 1.

Ditto. I absolutely love Grossman this week, and have him started over Freeman myself (Actually i just traded Freeman on one team).

And I think SSmith is worth a pick-up if he's unowned, but I don't like him this week. GB has a grown-up D as opposed to ARI, and I'm pretty sure this is the week Cam learns a few lessons on what the NFL means. Down the road he's gonna be great, but I see him being a rookie this week which kills Smith IMO. Plus the other 3 WRs you're looking at all have veteran QBs and good matchups. Good luck!

Help me sift through my horrible stable of RBs...?

Thanks Gents!

So bench Smith and start Jackson, Manningham and Deion based on the match-ups.

I aslo have Randall Cobb as a potential starter. Should I consider him to play against the Panthers?

Cheers!

No, Cobb is like the 5th option on that Packers team. If he's not returning a kick for a TD each week, he won't be of much use.
