Philip Rivers for Peyton Hillis

Postby JimJones » Thu Sep 15, 2011 3:28 am

Hey guys,
Seems like there are so many QB's out there that can give you solid contribution.
I drafted Rivers and managed to pick up Rex Grossman a couple of days ago. However, I am lacking a bit in the RB department.
I have Knowshon Moreno as my #2RB and I'm a bit wary of his performance this season. He had a very poor showing in week 1 and has also come down with hamstring injury AGAIN. Moreover, He is in a bit of a battle with McGahee for touches.
With only 1 QB spot, I feel that replacing Knowshon with Hillis in my starting line-up will do much more good for me than replacing Rivers with Grossman will do bad.

Therefore I'm trying to make the trade: I give Rivers; I get Hillis.

What do you guys think?

This is my team btw:

Heck no. Keep Rivers.

You've got a good team....Ride it out.

If anything trade away Ben Tate for some WR depth.

RB Adrian Peterson, Matt Forte, Lesean McCoy

Thanks for the response.
I just dropped Fred Davis and picked up Amendola.
Sounds like Moreno is out this week as he isn't practicing again today.

Any one else mind shedding some light?

Moreno did not practice today, he is hurt ... again.
and even when he comes back unless the O-line in Denver get's something going, it's going to be a nightmare all season.

Also ... Amendola is out for a while from what I know. and Fred Davis is probably a great TE to keep hold of right now.

Also ... I would not trade Rivers for Hillis. I would Stand strong on the team you have ... except I would probably play Fred Davis in your Flex spot this week!!

Fuuuuu-...Reports are saying that Amendola could be back as soon as week 5 so that is why I had decided to pick him up...

Now I'm wishing I had dropped Knox instead of Davis for him.....Too late now though, I've already dropped Fred Davis and I won't be able to pick him on time to play insert him into my starting line-up this week.

So do you suggest I drop Knox and add Davis? Let me know! Thanks!
