Like the title says, I'm having a tough time deciding between Kenny Britt v. BAL or Benson v. DEN at my flex. Benson seems to be the safer option but it's tough to rule out Britt's big play ability even against a solid def like the Ravens. Any thoughts?
I agree... Britt does have big play upside, but Baltimore SHUT DOWN the Steelers last week. Hasselbeck will likely be tortured all game forcing him to make bad decisions.
Id def roll with Benson, whos coming off an big game and facing a Denver D who gave up 200 yds rushing to the Raiders.Hes def a safer bet to rack up 70-100 yds and TD than Britt who will have Ed Reed and company shadowing his every move.
Benson seems like a safer bet to score decent points, however Brit has the potential to score big time points IMO. If you are solid with the rest of your team, I would put in the guy who has the big score possibility.
Im going to have to say Benson ... the Ravens defense is going to shut down Britt and his whole offense for that matter. Benson has a MUCH better match up! and I think he is better than most people give him credit for.
I gotta disagree about the talk of BAL shutting down the Steelers last week. Yeah, they scored only 7 points, but Ben still had 280 yards passing with Wallace (another big play guy like Britt) hauling in 107 of those yards. BAL can be passed on and I don't think Britt will be "shut down" this week. There's a lot of big play potential from Britt and that's why I caution sitting him. Benson is also a good start, but it would be helpful to see the rest of the original poster's roster to see if there's a way he can start both Britt and Benson.
Thanks for the feedback and sorry for the delayed response, I got tied up at work.
Thanks, this is why I wanted to see your roster. With the inconsistencies in IND's offense that should be expected this year, I would consider benching Wayne and starting both Benson and Britt. Wayne still had a good week with Collins at QB, but I don't think you can depend on that each week. Benson is pretty much guaranteed some points as a RB against DEN and I'd rather take my chances with Britt over Wayne.
Really? Reggie Wayne is at home against Cleveland and he had 11 targets in week one. I don't see him getting any less this week and it is a PPR league. Tough call.
