Picking up/Stashing Amendola

Postby dberry120 » Thu Sep 15, 2011 12:34 pm

I know Amendola is getting dropped in a lot of leagues, but I'm pretty weak with my wide receivers and he would be an upgrade to my team as long as he can get healthy in a few weeks. He doesn't need surgery, so he shouldn't be out too long. Question is, should I drop one of my guys to stash Amendola on my bench? Like I said, I have some weak wide receivers, so giving up one of them shouldn't cause me to lose much. If so, who should I drop to get Amendola?

M. Sims-Walker
B. Gibson
B. Edwards
J. Gaffney

I'm thinking I drop either Gibson or MSW. Also, rookie Greg Salas will be starting in place of Amendola. Should I drop somebody to pick up Salas for a week 2 play?

I have to start 3 receivers and so far I only have V. Jackson and E. Doucet starting.

Let me say this......You don't want the whole St. Louis WR corps on your bench. That does you no good.

Since you apparently have your pick, I would advise guessing which 2 of the bunch are going to do the best the rest of the year and put them on your roster. My best guess would be Gibson and Amendola.

Free the other spots for WRs on other teams.....otherwise you're really wasting roster spots.

WR Brandon Marshall, Kenny Britt
