A spin-off of my previous post. Ten-team league, standard scoring (not PPR, four points per TD pass). I'm quite thin at RB, especially given recent circumstances. My roster:
--QB: Philip Rivers (have Mark Sanchez as my backup)
--RB: Adrian Peterson
--RB: Ben Tate (w/ Knowshon Moreno, Mark Ingram on my bench currently)
--Flex: Kenny Britt
--WR: Greg Jennings
--WR: Dez Bryant (w/ Sidney Rice on my bench, for obvious reasons)
--TE: Jason Witten (w/ Dustin Keller on my bench)
--K: Sebastian Janikowski
--D/ST: Baltimore Ravens
A friend has the following roster:
--QB: Matt Schaub (w/ Ryan Fitzpatrick and Cam Newton on his bench)
--RB: Darren McFadden
--RB: Tim Hightower (w/ Arian Foster and Shonn Greene on his bench)
--Flex: Beanie Wells
--WR: Hakeem Nicks
--WR: Miles Austin (w/ Austin Collie, Lance Moore, Mike Sims-Walker on his bench)
--TE: Jimmy Graham
--K: Mason Crosby
--D/ST: New England Patriots
He wants QB help, and I need RB depth. We've discussed a trade of starting QBs and me getting a RB as well. Would I be smart to receive Schaub and Hightower from him for Philip Rivers? Any suggestions for better trades that might be equitable? I offered him Rivers and Ben Tate for Schaub, Hightower and Wells earlier, and he turned it down. He doesn't see huge value in getting the handcuff for Arian Foster.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
