Hilariously bad QB decision in 14 team league

Postby Curtis Pride » Thu Sep 15, 2011 1:45 pm

Cam Newton vs. GB
Matt Cassell @ Detroit
Jason Campbell @ Buf

I ended up waiting a bit too long on QB and the guys I wanted ended up getting taken early, and then people started to take backups before I could get anything good.

I am strong everywhere else, but I have a feeling this will be an issue all year.

Standard settings 6 points for all TDs

Wow, you aren't kidding! I don't like the Cassel matchup (assuming he's even healthy) and Cam isn't facing much better in GB. I don't see Campbell as a viable option outside a 2 QB league as McFadden dominates that offense. I'd probably roll the dice on the rookie...did I just say that?

Gotta go with Cam Newton here. The other ones arent worth the roster spot. Roll 'Em!!!

Yah I think you've just gotta take your chances with Newton. This is what makes Fantasy exciting, aint it?

Thanks for the help with mine. I think you gotta go with the highest upside, Cam. Yeah, GB's defense is tough, but he'll probably be playing from behind and will probably throw a lot. For better or worse, that's probably your best bet...

With these choices, it's easy to look at the downside - all these quarterbacks could have seriously lousy weekends. On the other hand, Cassel and Campbell are never going to get you big points - Newton might. So, since downside is equal, go with the only option with some upside.

I would suggest taking some of your strength in the rest of your team and make a trade with someone cause you are in a no-win situation.

Of the three I say Newton, but try a trade if you can.
