Flex Options WHIR!!

Postby Coppa » Thu Sep 15, 2011 4:10 pm

Standard scoring, non-PPR
Right now my starting WRs and RBs are:
RB: Rice
RB: MJD
WR: Jennings
WR: Austin
Flex: ???
My option for flex are: J. Nelson, Bryant, Welker, Tolbert, Hightower
Since its non-PPR I'm leaning towards one of the backs. Either way, who should I put at flex?

I'm assuming thats Dez Bryant, he might be a faily good play against a weak 49er 2ndary. I agree though with the non ppr format, you probably should run a rb out there at flex. Out of the ones you have, I think Hightower is the clear favorite, he's got a spectacular matchup against the Cardinals who looked absolutely terrible.. Tolbert, I like him, but I think you sit him this week with Wilfork and Haynesworth blockading the middle for NE.

I'd go with Hightower or Dez, I think Dez, if healthy would be a great option even in non ppr formats.

help with mine?

I'm definately high on Hightower (no pun intended). He should have a big week and it's tough to say that Bryant will be stellar with his injury.

Help?

Yeah, I would probably go with Hightower as well. Washington looks like the are really committed to him and he ran well last week. Add that to the fact that they are playing AZ and he should be in for a good week.

I could also make a fairly strong arguement for starting Tolbert as well. Slight edge to Hightower IMO.

It's a tossup for me between Dez Bryant and Tim Hightower, but the edge goes to Hightower since he's playing his former team and will have added motivation.
QB: Drew Brees, Matthew Stafford
RB: Adrian Peterson, Peyton Hillis, Steven Jackson, Jackie Battle
WR: Andre Johnson, Roddy White, Dez Bryant, Steve Smith, Vincent Jackson
TE: Vernon Davis, Tony Gonzalez
K: John Kasay
D/ST: Cincinnati Bengals
