Dropping or benching a drafted QB for a breakout

Postby scottaa1 » Thu Sep 15, 2011 5:46 pm

In one of my leagues Henne and Newton are both available. I have Big Ben and Eli as my QBs. I have no interest in carrying 3 QBs. I also don't like making knee-jerk reactions and picking up a flash in the pan. I had Ben in and the extra points from Henne or Newton would have gotten me the W instead of the L. So I'm considering dropping one of those guys and picking up one of those two. So, who do you think is most likely to keep up the performance or was week 1 a flash for Newton and Henne; and/or will eli and Ben start putting up the higher numbers after the newness of the season wears off? (odd that the newness of the season didn't affect alot of other QBs the same way ;-) )

Big ben will bounce back and be fine but that line could get him hurt at some point this season...Eli is in for a rough season I believe and I like Newton better...Take for what its worth... the upside is certainly there, Newton should be owned.
