Week 2-Benson or Hightower? WHIR

Postby crazy150 » Fri Sep 16, 2011 3:19 am

Hey guys, been lurking here and finally registered. Need a little help.

My main backs are McFadden, Benson, and Hightower.

Assuming McFadden is good to go, I'm def going to start him. I'm having a hard time deciding between Benson and Hightower though. Leaning towards Benson, but wanted to get some feedback. Thoughts?

You PPR or standard? Either way I'd go with Hightower.

Sorry, it's standard scoring. What's your reasoning exactly?

I would go with Hightower... considering that Dalton is injured, Benson is likely to see a run-stacked defense on almost every play.

I wouldn't discount Benson like that because Andy Dalton is banged up. it's not like teams consider the rook a threat to light it up - the Bengals threw for only 155 yds on the day anyway, and Bruce Gradkowski is more than capable of getting the ball downfield. Either way, the Broncos were atrocious at stopping the run against the Raiders, and I think it's safe to say the Bengals are probably even better through the air their they are..
