I know it might seem a bit premature based on one week of good (Wells) and poor (Ingram) performance, but Wells' owner has said he's very open to a trade, and I'm considering the following in a 12-team, 0.5 PPR league:
1-for-1 trade of my Ingram for his Wells
Am I crazy, or does this actually make some sense? I figure Ingram is going to improve, and he'll likely continue pulling the goal-line work. However, Wells seems to be a better pass-catching back, and he's the premier RB on his team (whereas Ingram will share snaps with Sproles and Thomas). Here are our rosters:
WR: Fitzgerald, Marshall, Boldin, Moore
RB: Forte, Ingram, Sproles, B. Jacobs, C. Williams, R. Williams
TE: Winslow, Keller
DEF: New Orleans
QB: Flacco, Henne
WR: Nicks, Britt, Crabtree, M. Williams (Sea)
RB: J. Charles, SJax, B. Wells, J. Stewart
TE: Daniels, Olsen
DEF: Pitt, SF
He's could use some help in the WR department but is fairly stacked on RB (assuming Jackson returns soon from his injury), while I'm the opposite--I've got three startable receivers in Fitzy, Marshall and Boldin, and then have Moore has another WR3, while my RB stable beyond Forte is essentially a bunch of handcuffs.
Should I possibly consider targeting JStew? Not sure how I'd finagle that trade, but it's always an option.
Thanks for the help.
