Standard scoring.

Orton vs. Cincinnati
or Freeman @ Minnesota?

Orton's been pretty reliable in the past and my instinct are to start him here because Broncos-Bengals could turn out to be one of those high-scoring slugfests that occasionally happen between subpar teams.

On the other hand, Cinci does have a solid pass defense and Freeman is obviously the safer pick. Overall, though, I worry that Freeman doesn't have much upside because his career is full of 200yds/2TD/0INT games.

I agree... I'd say Orton's the safer bet. Freeman has never really done anything that makes me think he could come through big even in an optimal situation
