Good QBs, not so good RB/TE... WHIR

Postby project2501 » Fri Sep 16, 2011 12:17 pm

I've got three slots I'm not sure about... 10 team standard league, no PPR...

ok, so...

Stafford vs. KC OR Schaub vs. Miami (not a bad problem to have I know)

Cedric Benson vs. Denver OR Michael Bush vs. Buffalo (meh)

Dallas Clark vs. Cleveland OR Brent Celek vs. Atlanta (I don't think I have ANY faith in Kerry Collins)

What do you think?

Goin to help some other peeps whilst I await you're sage advice..

THANKS

Your QB situation is a tough one. I'd go with upside over consistency and take Stafford.
At RB definitely go with Benson. You know he's gonna get the carries and Denver got torn up last week on the ground.
TE is a tough one too. I'd take Celek until the Colts can prove that they can put together something resembling a competitive offense

agreed, Stafford/Benson/Celek. I don't have any confidence in collins either. Benson will get TONS of work even if denver loads the box most downs.

Stafford/Benson/Celek

I like Stafford's upside compared to Schaub's. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 4 TDs against KC. Stafford > Fitzpatrick. And you could say Tom Brady did that against Miami, but Schaub isn't on the level of Brady. I like Benson over Bush because as long as McFadden is starting, I consider Bush as just a handcuff. And I also don't trust Kerry Collins, or the entire Colts team for that matter.
