12 team PPR, start 2 RB, 3 WR, no flex (plus QB, TE, DST, K). My roster:
QB - M Ryan RB - R Rice, F Jones, B Jacobs, M Bush WR - M Wallace, S Holmes, K Britt, D Amendola, J Ford TE - R Gronkowski DST - Chicago K - Bironas
Rotoworld says Holmes is questionable, heading for game time decision status, and Jets signed a WR off their practice squad this morning. With Amendola and Ford both not playing (Amendola for sure, Ford likely to be out), I need to pick up a WR in case Holmes can't go (which would suck, because it's a plus matchup against a bad Jags secondary). Two questions:
1. Who's the right drop? I love Ford's upside, and can't let Amendola go in a PPR league. Do I drop M Bush and worry about RB depth later? Or drop Ford and give up that upside?
2. Which WR to add? Available WR's include B Gibson, G Salas, J Gaffney, A Brown, E Sanders, B Hartline, E Decker. I don't much care for the two PIT receivers since I have Wallace already, leaning toward Gibson because I just don't trust a rookie coming out of nowhere to fill Amendola's slot position. Hartline and Decker are interesting, but Gibson seems to be the biggest upside of the bunch.
This is a tough one...I would say get rid of Bush right now. He is not going to get the touches with McFadden playing the way he is.
I would pick up either Decker (seems to be a favorite target for Orton late in the game) or Salas would be a good insurance pick up. With Amendola out..he could see his passes.
QB - RGIII WR - R. Wayne, A.J. Green, Antonio Brown, L. Moore RB - M. Forte, Rashad Jennings, D. Murray, R. Mendenhall, J. Dwyer TE - J. Witten, A. Gates Flex - T. Richardson K - R. Gould DEF - Bears
Amendola is out for quite some time & Ford is dealing with another injury, either are safe drops IMO.
I'd drop either & pick up Gaffney (he & Grossman played together at Florida) and Arizona just got torched by a rookie QB at home.

1. I agree you should drop bush. You have jacobs backing up right now which should suffice.
2. I would grab Gaffney I think. Targeted a lot last week by Grossman and he has a favorable matchup with week vs a weak ARI secondary. If not Gaffney, Id prob grab Gibson since he'll be a #1 wr for Bradford
I would drop Bush and grab either Gibson or Gaffney. If Amendola somehow comes back to play, and does so at a similar level, then Gibson's value will drop off. On the other hand, the circus in Washington has me wondering about the consistency of those targets.
I would drop ford rather than bush. Ford may have upside, but you will never start him over your other three unless there are injuries. Rb depth more important.
I like Gibson of the ones you mentioned. I am intrigued by hardline this week, but much prefer Gibson over the long haul.

Good luck
My thoughts exactly. RB depth is always at a premium, so even though DMC is rolling now, Bush still has value. I love Ford's upside, but he is the odd man out here. I'd look at either Gibson or Gaffney
