Danny Amendola??

Postby BG-Nole » Fri Sep 16, 2011 1:32 pm

Someone in my 12 team non PPR league dropped Amendola immediately following his injury. I have the opportunity to grab him off of waivers as my WR4/5. I would drop either Jerome Simpson or Antonio Brown. The injury is not near as bad as originally thought so I thought it may be worth it. Advice? Thanks!

Since it is non-PPR, I would not do it. I would maybe consider dropping Jerome Simpson for him if I were going to do it. Antonio Brown has looked like he could supplant Hines Ward as the #2 WR later in the season, even in the horrible loss Brown had the most targets for the Steelers. But really no St. Louis receiver has really stepped up to be the number #1 overall receiver. Amendola is so good because he gets a lot of passes thrown toward him (which is why he is great for PPR) and he was a favorite red-zone target for Bradford.

might be the angle of the photo making it the injury look worse than it is.
