Chris Johnson starting question

Postby Chaoyi Shih » Sat Sep 17, 2011 12:41 am

Chris Johnson @Baltimore this week, and seeing how Ravens butchered Steeler on week1, i am afraid Chris Johnson wouldn't do much.

2RB 2WR 1flex

RB1 Tim Hightower
RB2 Michael Turner
WR1 Devery Henderson
WR2 Hines Ward
flex W/R Chris Johnson

bench
LaDainian Tomlinson RB
Cadillac Williams RB
DeAngelo Williams RB
Percy Harvin WR
Santonio Holmes WR

i originally had Holmes instead of Ward, but seeing how Steeler will make big come back on week 1 and Holmes is injury during practice.

i am debating between CWilliams, DWilliams or Holmes if i do decide to bench CJohnson

please help me out

I'd roll with Johnson this week. I watched the game last week and Mendenhall actually had reasonable success against the Ravens run defense for a good portion of the game, they just got so far behind that they had to abandon the running game and that led to the mediocre numbers we saw. The Ravens actually gave up the 12th most yards per carry last week in the NFL at 4.1 ypc so an explosive back like Johnson has the potential for a solid outing.

If you had another solid option I might vote differently but Johnson is by far your best bet for a good game this week and I'd go with him.
