Flex options - Sproles, LT, Hernandez, Jordy Nelson? WHIR

Postby fanghsu » Sat Sep 17, 2011 11:56 am

I'm in a PPR (0.3 pts per catch) and punt/kick return yard league (1pt per 25 yds). We start 2 flex players. Which 2 players should I start for flex?

Darren Sproles vs. CHI
LT vs. JAC
Jordy Nelson vs. CAR
Aaron Hernandez vs. SD
Malcom Floyd vs. NE

I am leaning towards Darren Sproles and LT, but I'm really tempted to start Aaron Hernandez and Jordy Nelson due to the matchup. Any insight?

Like you said, very similar to my own situation. I also have LT on the bench but the other options are clearly better in my eyes. I'm leaning towards Hernandez myself. Nelson may be the #2 in that offense, or he may get lost behind Driver and Finley this game. Sproles I like A LOT in this game, I can see a lot of underneath stuff going his way. Since you count return yardage, I'd go with Sproles, since he's returning kicks. Otherwise I'd go for Hernandez in what should be a shootout.

Just noticed you're picking two. I'd go Sproles and Hernandez. I think VJax picks it up this week and I don't see a big game for Floyd.
12 Team $ (PPR + Return Yardage):
    QB: Tom Brady, Andy Dalton
RB: Charles, Lynch, Martin, Stewart, DeAngelo Williams, Rashad jennings, Joe McKnight, Leon Washington
WR/TE: Antonio Brown, Brandon Lloyd, Randall Cobb, Ted Ginn
    K: Bryant
    DST: Bills
