First time fantasy footballer needs help.

So I had Kerry Rhodes and Tyvon branch who had pretty good games in week 1. Someone told me that Safeties are more consistent in the DB slot is why I am using them. I recently dropped Rhodes and picked up Patrick Peterson since he picked up so many points just based off return yards and was wondering if that was a good idea.

I know the return yards could be hit or miss each week and was just wondering if would be better to put a pretty good safety like Rhodes up or a return man like Peterson.

Lardarius Webb is available on the wire but I doubt I get him with my crappy waiver spot, but if I can do you think he would be better than Rhodes/Peterson as well?

Rhodes is a good player. It's true that Safetys are generally more consistent than Corners. Webb might be a nice pick-up, if you have the space. He dose start at DB and returns both punts and kicks. I don't think I'd drop Rhodes to pick up Webb, but someone else might feel differently....

I think Peterson is a good target. Return yards are about as, if not more, consistent than defensive fantasy production from DBs. I targeted Daniel Manning for this reason. I like Webb, but he sounds to high risk for you. Peterson is a big guy, he should continue to get tackles. He's also unproven, which is good for potential INT totals because teams will challenge him. Good move.

I let go of Peterson for other options just didn't seem to be elite talent yet.

If you can get Webb i'd go that route over Peterson. If not because of waiver position i would look for either of these guys are available.

- Morgan Burnett, S GB
- Brandon Browner, CB Sea
- Antoine Bethea, S Ind
- Charlie Peprah, S GB

* I know one of them is CB but he is good for solid numbers.

good luck
