Hillis owner - Keep K.Hunter or pick up Hardesty?

Postby KanakaJoe » Sun Sep 18, 2011 8:35 am

Hey guys,

In a keeper ppr IDP league .5 per catch RB

I have limited space on my bench and one spot is occupied by Kendell Hunter hoping he might get a chance if or when Gore goes down.

But I have Peyton Hillis and I'm wondering if I should pick up Montario Hardesty of the wire as some insurance?

Thanks for the help!

i would pick up Hradesty just to keep insurance for your investment in Hillis.

Hunter may get looks if Gore goes down, and they also have Dixon who will take some carries as well.

If you only have room to carry one of them, Hardesty is more valuable to you than Hunter. If Hillis goes down and you have Hunter with a healthy Gore playing, that's a valueless player. The flipside is the "who's more likely to get hurt" game. If Gore's history is any indicator, he will miss a game here and there. Hillis has been pretty durable, he just got worn down last year late. So that makes Hunter a little more likely to get an opportunity. But would you start him over a healthy Hillis if Gore got hurt? If not, then Hardesty would be the guy to have. Good luck!
