2nd in the waiver WHIR

12 team yahoo standard ppr

My Team

QB - Ryan/Cutler
RB - Rice, Felix Jones, Marion Barber, Brandon Jacobs
WR - Roddy White, Miles Austin, Nate Burelson, Devery Henderson, Johnny Knox
TE - Dallas Clark, Ed Dickson

Updated* : / So, I'm apparently losing Austin for 3 weeks and Jones is unknown.

McCluster, T. Jones, Erick Decker, David Nelson, Darius Moore and Tashard Choice are all on Waviers.

I'm leaning towards McCluster. More touches and is probably the best home run threat out of all of them. Wr/rb helps a lot since I lost 1 of each.

Decker and Nelson are both interesting as well. Nelson has 4 touchdowns/250 yds in his last 5 games dating back to last season. Decker probably loses a lot when Lloyd comes back.

Regarding the 2 Chiefs, I'm just not sure you can tell which of those guys is going to get the touches to make him worth starting. If you want to gamble you can pick one of them up and see, but that's a rough loss of waiver slot if you pick wrong. I'm big on waiting out the waiver until someone stupid drops someone they shouldn't have, which seemingly always happens. If you want a chief, I would expect Jones to get most of the ground and pound runs including Goal Line opportunities. As far as Davis is concerned, I like him more than Dickson, so if you were going to drop someone I'd just drop that Te for Davis.

Help me if you can: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=497621&p=3349350#p3349350

i'd say if you're in a desperate situation and charles was the main cog in your offense, you have to take the shot on mccluster. if anybody is going to produce potential numbers in line with charles, it's mccluster. no way jones will be much of a difference maker. mccluster may fail, but when you lose a guy like charles, you need to take a risk.

i'm in the charles situation myself. please help.

Updated since I didn't know I'm losing Austin and probably Jones or 3+ weeks.

Barber for Jones (a starter at least is better than a backup)
Henderson for McCluster (dual eligibility)
Davis for DIckson (toss up there)
