Jamaal Charles Replacement???

Postby Tyler Maxwell » Mon Sep 19, 2011 5:54 pm

Okay, so there is really noone on the waiver wire who can "replace" this guy. In the last two weeks, I lost Steven Jackson and Jamaal Charles both in the first quarter. Since Jackson will be back shortly, I need to find a back to replace Charles as my #2. Here are my options, tell me what you think:

1) Beanie Wells
2) James Starks
3) Daniel Thomas
4) Willis McGahee

I'd appreciate if you'd tell me who you think and why, because I am hurting for a RB now!? Any advice is appreciated.

Never expect to be able to "replace" your first round pick.. However Beanie is a great fill-in. I think Beanie will have a strong year, and if he is still on the WW snag him instantly.

Beanie for sure, I can't believe he is available on any waivers anymore. I'd pick up D. Thomas to stick on your bench as well as he saw a lot of action yesterday.

I'm not high on McGahee, and would personally steer clear of him.

Beanie is gold. Thomas looks like he's going to have a good season, he looked really good and durable. I'd try for both.

You must be in an 8-teamer. Lucky guy. Any of those are 2x better than what most everyone else replacing him are getting. Wells it is.
