Proposal 2: Ryan and (choice of) TB Williams or Hightower for Stafford

Proposal 3: Ryan, Hightower, and D. Jax for Brees and Harvin

Do any of these make sense for me and are worth proposing?

if you really want get new QB, i would trade Ryan/Hightower or Ryan/Williams for Brees, or as your original option, but switch DJax to Williams
so Ryan/Hightower/Williams for Brees, but you will be paying too much and make your RB and WR too thin, however, i think it's better than Ryan/Hightower/DJax for Bree/Harvin (i can't see Harvin being great this year)

However, if i were you, i won't worry about QB so much, i really like Newton and Fitzpatrick, and in one of my league i have Newton/Fitzpatrick/Vick, now i am thinking trade Vick for some WR or RB and keep Newton/Fitzpatrick, that's how much i like them.

Stafford is great, but you are giving Hightower/Ryan for a QB that is in my opinion same as Fitzpatrick.
Newton is potential future elite QB, but it would be a headache to decide who should be your starting QB

Overall, Fitzpatrick is great, unless you can get someone who is obviously better than him like Brees, otherwise i won't bother
