McCluster, DMurray, or DCarter worthy of a #1WW?

Postby garretterik » Tue Sep 20, 2011 9:48 pm

Are any of these back-up RBs who are looking at increased roles worthy of burning my #1 ww pick on? Or should I just keep holding onto the ww.
They would replace MBarber and/or RWilliams

My team:
QB Kevin Kolb (Ari - QB)
WR Calvin Johnson (Det - WR)
WR Stevie Johnson (Buf - WR)
RB Chris Johnson (Ten - RB)
RB Shonn Greene (NYJ - RB)
TE Antonio Gates (SD - TE)
W/R/T Steve Smith (Car - WR)
BN Mark Ingram (NO - RB)
BN Eli Manning (NYG - QB)
BN Sidney Rice (Sea - WR)
BN LaDainian Tomlinson (NYJ - RB)
BN Marion Barber (Chi - RB)
BN Javon Ringer (Ten - RB)
BN Ricky Williams (Bal - RB)
K Nick Folk (NYJ - K)
DEF Dallas (Dal - DEf)

Thanks for the help on my question.

Tough call considering we haven't seen the role that Barber will play for the Bears, but I would add all three of them over him in the order you listed them. As far as Ricky goes, I like McCluster more because of the amount of touches, but only if your league is PPR. I wouldn't blame you for adding Murray. Carter is blah.

Agree with last guy, any one of them I would take over barber, but not sure I would burn a number 1 waiver spot on them given that you are not in need of any of those guys as starters. I think McCluster would be best option if it is a ppr league, especially if it is a yahoo league as he has WR elidgability.
