Standard Scoring, PPR. I am also in first place with the most points. I have some depth at RB, and I am a bit concerned about the reports of stevie johnsons groin, so thinking now might be a good time to cash in on that guy. There is a team who had Jamal Charles who could use a RB. I am thinking maybe I can move stevie jonhson and a RB to upgrade my WRs. Let me know what you think...
My Team: QB: Stafford RB: McCoy, Mendenhall WR: Calvin Johnson, Stevie Johnson, VJax Flex: Wells TE: Finley bench: Flacco, McGahee, Hightower, Decker, Julio Jones, McCluster, Sims Walker, Fred Davis
Other guys Team: QB: Romo RB: Caddy, Grant WR: Bowe, Bryant, Jennings Flex: green-ellis TE: owen daniels bench: cassel, gearhart, Branch,Steve Smith Antonio Brown, Cooly, Kendricks, jamal Charles
I am thinking a package that includes me giving Steve Johnson and Hightower and getting something like Steve Smith and someone else?
Let me know what you think, or should I just sit tight and hope johnson is good?
I think Johnson will be fine. He had the injury before the game and still had almost 100yds and a TD. However, I do you like your thinking here. You might be able to upgrade. He doesn't have a lot to offer you though. I would try and target SSMith or Jennings and I guess Green-Ellis? My link: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=498046
IDK about davis, I am actually thinking I might be better off moving finly and starting davis. Finley is a stud, but the packer offense has to many weapons for anyone to be consistent week to week. I see someone different being the main target each week. Defenses adjust to the week before and that will keep opening up diff guys for big games
His team is too weak to give up Smith. Bowe is no longer startable until proven otherwise, Dez is 50%, so the only good WRs he has right now are Jennings, Smith, and Branch. He is too thin anywhere else to give up a player. I would try a straight across with Hightower for Smith.
Sorry. I meant he is too weak to give up Smith and another. Losing Hightower doesn't hurt you at all but it helps him enough that adding another injured receiver to his already injured WR corps is a viable option.
BTW, who did he pick up off the waivers this morning?
Send Hightower for Steve Smith/ Worst case scenario he turns you down, but perhaps he'll counter if he does and you'll get an idea of where he's at on valuing Smith. Best to go from there. Hold on to Stevie Johnson
