Team Help! WHIR!

Postby Rabid58 » Tue Sep 20, 2011 10:41 pm

Okay so i just did my draft it's a 10 Team PPR League. I was repeatedly faced with a hard choice because every time the best available player by far would be a RB and i already had enough. But i went ahead and took it each time. So i ended up stacked at RB and okay everywhere else. I could have taken my QB earlier but after Romo went earlier then i wanted, i waited on one. So here is the scoring and my roster:

Passing
Rule Apply To
1 point for every 20 Passing Yards (0.05 per) ALL
2 points for every 2 Pt Conversion Passing ALL
4 points for every Passing TD ALL
-2 points for every Interception ALL
Rushing
1 point for every 10 Rushing Yards (0.1 per) ALL
2 points for every 2 Pt Conversion Rushing ALL
6 points for every Rushing TD ALL
Receiving
1 point for every Catch ALL
1 point for every 10 Receiving Yards (0.1 per) ALL
2 points for every 2 Pt Conversion Receiving ALL
6 points for every Receiving TD ALL
Kicking
3 points for every FG Made ALL
3 extra points for every FG of 50 or more yards ALL

1 point for every XP ALL
Returning

6 points for every Kick Return TD ALL

4 points for every Safety ALL
6 points for every Defensive TD ALL
4 extra points for every Defensive TD of 80 or more yards ALL
2 extra points for every Defensive TD between 40 and 79 yards (inclusive) ALL
10 extra points when total Points Allowed is exactly 0

Roster:

QB: Matthew Stafford (10.6)
RB: LeSean Mccoy (1.5)
RB: Knowshon Moreno (6.6)
WR: Larry Fitz (2.6)
WR: Reggie Wayne (3.5)
WR: Dez Bryant (4.6)
TE: Dallas Clark (5.5)
K: David Akers (15.5)
DEF: Baltimore Ravens (14.6)

Bench: Ryan Mathews (11.5)
Bench: Shon Greene (8.6)
Bench: Reggie Bush (9.5)
Bench: DeAngelo Williams (7.5)
Bench: Davone Bess (12.6)
Bench: Jacoby Ford (13.5) dropped for Randall Cobb, Week 2

I'm kinda of panicking because of Peyton Manning's injury since I have Clark and Wayne. Any help on what to do with this team? I really have no idea on what to do! It would be a good team if there were no injuries to Manning or Bryant! I'm just kinda lost as to how i go about this now! Thanks very much in advance! Will help in Return!

Thanks!

try trading matthews or greene for a wr ... target someone like a lower #1 (bowe who is off to a slow start) or a strong #2 jordy nelson, l. moore, etc.

Id be looking to pick up one of the many young wr out there to add depth. I dont think your stacked at rb, you have a ton of them though. The depth is sick but its wasted see if you can trade a moreno and mathews for a better back to someone with a not so hot backfield. Somehow you need a better back and could use a backup qb, you think???
10 team ppr w big play bonuses

QB E. Manning
RB C Johnson, Forte, Sproles
WR Marshall, A.Brown, Decker
TE Finley
DEF Houston,
K M.Bryant
Bench: D.Brown, M.Bush, J.Rodgers, Amendola, D.Moore, Flacco

I'd try packaging Reggie Wayne & Shonn Greene/Knowshon Moreno/DeAngelo Williams for an upgrade a WR. You've got a solid squad, but I, like you, would be very nervous having/starting both Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark on a weekly basis.

If it were me I'd start the deal off with DeAngelo Williams - he hasn't even been the most productive back on the team, and they aren't running the ball at all either. At least last week, Jonathan Stewart was in the game during goal line situations, and Cam Newton is obviously going to vulture plenty of TD's from either running back. If they're not buying DeAngelo Williams I'd move to Shonn Greene. They haven't been able to run the ball as is this season, and with Nick Mangold's injury you've got to be even more concerned.

You've got plenty of flexibility with you're set-up at running back. I'd definitely be starting Ryan Mathews over Knowshon Moreno, and I'd try to package these Colts players to further upgrade your roster across the board. You even have enough RB depth where you could go after the Jamaal Charles owner with several running backs and land another WR1.

I hope some of this was able to help you.

Give me some help on my trade. I could really use some advice: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=498348
QB: Ben Roethlisburger
WR: Calvin Johnson
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: Jeremy Maclin, Robert Meachem
RB: Darren McFadden, Michael Bush
RB: Michael Turner, Daniel Thomas, Ryan Torain
TE: Jimmy Graham
